The origins of the property date back to the 19th century when the Klostermaier family began managing the agricultural operation. With growing interest in the picturesque region around Icking and increasing tourism, the family decided to expand their farm and accommodate guests. In the 1970s, the first major renovation took place, transforming the traditional farmhouse into a cozy inn with overnight accommodations.

Over the decades, the inn was continuously expanded and modernized to meet the increasing demands of guests.
In 2008, a comprehensive renovation and expansion of the building took place, resulting in the current Hotel Klostermaier. Special care was taken to preserve the original charm and historical atmosphere of the house while integrating modern amenities and a high standard of comfort.

Today, Hotel Klostermaier is run by the fourth generation of the Klostermaier family, who take care of their guests’ well-being with great dedication and passion. The hotel has developed into a popular retreat for vacationers, business travelers, and event planners who appreciate the idyllic location, first-class service, and warm hospitality.
